Ensuring that community members have access to food is a priority for Interfaith Food Pantry. Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County is dedicated to promoting the independence, dignity, and wellness of homebound elderly and people with disabilities by matching them with supportive and caring volunteers who assist with the tasks of everyday life. Team member Kathy Lo Bue has been active in this organization for many years. She was honored with the Shining Lights Award at a gala event.

The team collected non-perishable goods for Mt Carmel Guild of Trenton, New Jersey’s Emergency Assistance Program.
The team collected donated books for Trenton Catholic Academy, a regional PreK-12 school for the Diocese of Trenton that prepares students for college and life after education through a demanding preparatory curriculum.
Later that day, the Glen Eagle team traveled to Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve to help Friends Of Princeton Open Space with the removal of invasive species and eventual replanting of those native to the area.

The Glen Eagle team collected durable food products in November 2017 to ship to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands, which suffered from immense damage inflicted by Hurricane Irma.
