• So far this year, real estate investors, rather than individuals looking to live in the home, bought 30% of U.S. homes (new and existing), double the share in 2020. 1
• While 81% of Gen Z know credit scores matter, only 55% know what variables affect their scores. Just 18% have checked their score, and only 33% would seek help from a parent or expert to improve it. 1
• EU households save more than Americans, but their wealth has grown only a third as much since 2009—largely because 70% of their savings sit in bank accounts and they own fewer stocks than Americans with 401(k) plans. 2
• Technology now accounts for a record 34.5% of the S&P’s value—up from 32% at the end of 2024 and 20% in 2018. Including Meta, Alphabet, Amazon, and Tesla, which are technically classified in other sectors, the share rises to 45%. *3
