There are now 24 million US millionaires. A recent survey found that 74% of American millionaires work with a financial advisor (compared to 34% of the general public). Yet, only 36% of those millionaires consider themselves wealthy. 1
Private companies are waiting longer before they trade publicly through an IPO. In 2000, the median age for a company going public was six years. Today, the median age is 14 years. 2
As of December, the S&P 500 was up 131.9% in the 2020s. However, 61.5% of that return came from the technology sector alone. 3*
On 12/1, the national average of a gallon of unleaded gas fell to $2.998. This is the first price below $3 since May 2021. 4
