At the end of 2022, healthcare was the second largest sector in the S&P 500 (15.9%). By November 19, 2023, its share dropped to 10.36%, its lowest level since September 2000, making it the fourth largest sector, behind tech, financials, and consumer discretionary. 1
Bitcoin's price has more than doubled this year, nearing $100,000 last week. However, 63% of Americans are skeptical about cryptocurrencies' reliability and safety, while only 5% are very confident. *1
The number of female CEOs in Fortune 500 companies has increased to 55 this year from 24 in 2018. This trend is likely to continue as eight business schools achieved gender parity in 2024 for full-time MBA students, up from one in 2020. 1
The auto industry could be impacted by potential tariffs on Mexico and Canada. This year, 16% of vehicles sold in the U.S. (about 2.5 million) will be made in Mexico, and 7% will come from Canada. 2
