- Only 21% of Baby Boomers with at least $1 million in investable assets want to share their wealth with the next generation while they're still alive. In contrast, 53% of Millennials and 44% of Gen Xers with similar assets are willing to do so. 1
- Home prices continue to push would-be home buyers out of the market. Only 24% of homes are being purchased by first-time homebuyers, the lowest level ever recorded. 2
- Since the November 5th election, the S&P SmallCap 600 Index has increased by nearly 8%, compared to a roughly 5% gain for the S&P 500. Despite this recent rise, the S&P 600 still lags behind the S&P 500 by more than ten percentage points for 2024 and nearly 40 points since the end of 2019. *3
- According to a new survey conducted by CreditCards.com, 34% of Americans said they are stockpiling daily necessities, including toilet paper, non-perishable food, and medical supplies, out of fear of increasing prices from proposed tariffs on imported goods. 4
