- Mid-caps have had an 11.0% annualized return since 1991, outperforming small caps (9.05%) and large caps (10.4%). They outperformed large caps 56% of the time and small caps 92% of the time in monthly five-year rolling periods. *1
- Most people do not realize that YouTube has now been the top TV streaming service in the U.S. for the past two years. In December 2024, it captured a record 11.1% share of TV usage, ahead of Netflix (8.5%), Prime Video (4.0%), Hulu (2.5%), and Disney+ (2.1%). 2
- A recent Michigan survey shows that American consumers now expect prices to rise by 3.5% annually over the next 5-10 years, the highest rate since 1995. Over half of consumers expect the unemployment rate to also increase next year, the highest since 2020. 3
- A survey of individuals with more than $1 million in investable assets showed a difference between generations. 53% of millennials and 44% of Gen Z agreed, "I want the next generation to enjoy my money while I’m still alive,” compared to just 21% of boomers. 4
